Compensation & Benefits

Compensation and Benefits
Salary & Compensation
Associate veterinarians are compensated through:
- Base Salary
- Production-Based Compensation
Base salary ranges vary depending on hospital location, caseload, and experience level.
Production-based compensation is structured to reward performance and contribution to hospital growth. New graduate veterinarians may begin with a structured base salary model before transitioning to production incentives.
We believe compensation should be competitive, transparent, and aligned with professional growth.
Continuing Education
Associate veterinarians receive a continuing education allowance to offset course registration, travel, and related expenses, along with dedicated time off for CE attendance.
Ongoing education is an essential part of clinical excellence, and we encourage associates to pursue areas of interest and specialization.
Retirement Planning
After meeting vesting requirements, doctors are eligible to participate in our retirement plan, which includes:
- 401(k) participation
- Company match of up to 3%
We believe in supporting both immediate career growth and long-term financial stability.
Paid Time Off
Associates receive competitive paid time off, typically ranging from 14–21 days annually, based on tenure and experience, in addition to PTO designated for continuing education.
Work-life balance is important in veterinary medicine, and we strive to structure schedules that allow for personal and professional fulfillment.
Professional Organizations & Licensure

- Annual AVMA dues
- Annual NCVMA dues
